History
A 48-year-old farmer from Bairnsdale presents with an 8-week history
of a slowly enlarging sore on the Achilles tendon of his right foot.
The lesion is painless and has not been pruritic. There was no change
with a trial of oral flucloxacillin from his local doctor.
He is generally healthy, with no history of serious illness, and there
are no other lesions elsewhere nor other abnormal findings on general
examination..
