History

A 52 year old woman presents with an 8 month history of a rash on her left nipple. This had not improved with a 6 week course of medium strength topical steroids but was not severely irritating, so she had not used any other treatment.

She has a history of flexural eczema as a child and asthma, and she is allergic to cheap jewelry, however she is otherwise well and there were no other abnormalities on general examination.
