History
A 23 year old man presents with a 12 month history of recurring crops
of inflammatory papules and nodules on his trunk and limbs. These lesions
develop acutely as tender papules which rapidly enlarge and then undergo
central ulceration before healing with scarring within a few weeks. At
any given time there may be between 2-10 lesions present. About 15 months
ago be had travelled extensively through South East Asia, Africa and South
America. There is no medical history of note, he takes no medications,
and his general health is good.
