History
An 18-month-old boy presented with a rash over the right hip. His mother
reported that the eruption began as a papule some 2 weeks previously,
following what appeared to be an insect bite, and extended rapidly despite
a 5-day course of erythromycin. The child was not systemically unwell
but the affected skin was tender. There was no family history nor past
history of atopy.
